Volume — how loud is the move?
Volume = how many shares changed hands. A price rise on huge
volume means many people agreed and pushed it up (a "loud", trustworthy move). A rise on tiny volume is a
"whisper" — it can reverse easily.
If one kid says the exam was easy, maybe. If the whole class says it, probably true.
Volume is how many people are "saying" it with real money.
